HTC One (M8)

HTC One (M8) Review

Designed as the main rival of Samsung Galaxy S5, this smartphone was one of the first gadgets that brought on public markets the newest innovations from high performance technologies. More over, some tech innovations arrived in 2014 inside intelligent phones hardware due to HTC One M8, then it was very quickly followed by the biggest vendors with similar features.

The most impressive innovation from HTC is represented by the sensor of primary camera, that is using less mega pixels for getting high quality images like sensors of many (double or even tiple) mega pixels can do. The good news is that at high ISO values you get more clear images.

Among HTC One M8 main specs I can underline that it's one of the first smartphones that started to use a Snapdragon 801 CPU (2.3 GHz quad-core or 2.5 GHZ quad-core), Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal memory storage that can be extended with a microSD memory card (up to 128GB), dual 4Mpx primary photo/video camera with AF, dual LED flash, HDR, videos can be made at 120fps (and many other features), the secondary camera has 5Mpx (it has HDR and you can make videos at 30fps), etc.

The biggest minus of this smartphone is represented by its battery! It's a non-removable 2600 mAh battery - actually these are a two in one big minuses: you can't replace your battery with a bigger one (like extended batteries), and... anyway, 2600 mAh isn't enough for a high performance gadget. But... if you think this detail is not a problem for you, then HTC One M8 is a perfect choice.
