Amazon Fire Phone

Amazon Fire Phone

As usual, among several other top selling and technology niches in the world, no far away Amazon started targeting the smartphones hot market. Their gadget was announced in June 2014 and released one month later, to compete with the best smartphones in the world and even create a new market - even if they're using and Android based operating system, the new customers will need to start familiarize with Amazon Fire OS.

Before starting to underline it main specs, I want to mention that for an existing Android user, using the Amazon gadget is not realy user friendly, because the interface has several different functions and there doesn't exists a "back" button.

Anyway, I'm considering Amazon Fire Phone a successful attempt to put it directly near TOP intelligent phones on 2014, especially if we're analizing its specs: Snapdragon 800 CPU (Quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 - it's a little too far away from Snapdragon 801 and/or 805), Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB or 64 GB of internal memory storage (it depends by the version you like to get it), the primary camera has 13Mpx with OIS (optical image stabilization), AF and Led flash, the secondary camera has 2.1 Mpx, the  2400 mAh battery is trying to keep alive your smartphone an entire day, etc.

Think very well before ordering this smartphone because it has lots of minuses, from my point of view: it has no card slot (so you need to limit to it's 32GB or 64 GB internal memory storage), it's battery capacity is too little (2400 mAh - what?), and you can make movies at low fps (1080p@30fps, while other smartphones can offer that function at 60fps and even to 120fps).

If these minuses are not a problem for you, then you can successfully enjoy by a TOP smartphone of this year, and please let us know about more personal experiences related to Amazon Fire Phone.

ps: did you noticed the strong similarities with iPhone smartphones desing?
